We have been instrumental in the commercial development of Exit 7 in Bristol, VA, bringing the Tinseltown cineplex, Red Lobster, O'Charley's, Ruby Tuesday's, Logan's Roadhouse, IHOP, and a number of profitable retail spaces to one of the region's fastest-growing areas.
Our current projects include a number of retail developments at Exit 7 in Bristol, VA, such as The Village shopping center, in addition to other projects nationwide.
Bankhead Marketplace, another exciting new Starwood Project, is currently in development in Pell City, Alabama. A commercial center much like Exit 7 in Bristol, Bankhead Marketplace is conveniently located on Interstate 20 between Birmingham and Atlanta. The project has attracted some of the nation's top retailers and restaurants, such as WalMart, Radio Shack, Sally Beauty, Shoe Department, H & R Block, Cracker Barrel, Arby's, Krystal and Wendy's, Hampton Inn and Holidy Inn Express.
Past Projects
In addition to our current projects, Starwood Properties, Inc. is the former owner of Old Dominion Shopping Center at Exit 7 in Bristol, Old Bakery Shopping Center (the Food City shopping center) on Bonham Road in Bristol, and Claypool Hill Mall in Claypool Hill, VA. Starwood also formerly purchased and renovated Bristol Plaza, the Food Lion shopping center off Exit 5 in Bristol, and brought national tenants to the property.
